  1. First heat oil in a pan over medium heat equally. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute until the raw aroma disappears.
  3. Second add the chopped tomatoes and cook furthermore thereafter they turn soft and mushy.
  4. Now, add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to combine the spices with the onion-tomato mixture.
  5. Add the cubed Dragon Stalk Yam to the pan and mix gently to coat the yam with the spice mixture.
  6. Cover the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the yam becomes slightly tender.
  7. Add the prawns to the pan and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
  8. Pour in the coconut milk and stir well to combine. Allow the curry to simmer for 5 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to blend together.
  9. Taste the curry and adjust the seasoning if needed.
